Implementation of Weather Inquiry Function Based on Cell Phone SMS
ABSTRACT
Along with the technical unceasing development, the motion communication industry expands unceasingly, and cell phone’s unceasing popularization, the fashionable cell phone SMS has become one of fundamental modes of gradually meteorological science and technology service. The instantaneity and the multiplicity of cell phone SMS have provided the reliable guarantee for ours meteorological science and technology short note service.
The system divides into two terminals, namely meteorological service center server and client side. The connection can be established between the server and the client side, and the message can be transmitted mutually. The user inquires the weather situation through transmitting SMS to the server, and the server obtains the key words. Then the server inquires the weather situation in the database, and gives the user the weather information through SMS. Moreover the administrator can carry on the renewal and the revision of the weather information on the server. This system uses VB and SQL the Server database to design code, and can realizes weather inquire of one day or several days in weather situation with the cell phone SMS. Thus the new convenience way has been provided to meteorological science and technology for the cell phone user.
